Registration Now Open for the 11th Annual “Kicking Ice in the Capital” Girls Hockey Tournament

The East Ottawa Girls Hockey Association (EOGHA) is thrilled to announce that registration is officially open for the 11th Annual Kicking Ice in the Capital girls hockey tournament. This premier competitive event will take place December 12-14, 2025, at the state-of-the-art Richcraft Sensplex, located in Ottawa’s east end.

Kicking Ice in the Capital has become one of Ontario’s most anticipated girls hockey tournaments, bringing together competitive teams from across Ontario and the northern United States for a weekend of top-tier hockey, sportsmanship, and unforgettable memories.

Tournament Highlights:

• Four (4) game minimum, with up to seven (7) games possible for teams advancing through the playoffs

• Diverse and challenging competition, featuring talented teams from all over Ontario and northern U.S. states

• Top tier prizing awarded to both Champions and Finalists in each division

• Award ceremonies following every game, recognizing Player of the Game selections from both teams

• Conveniently located at the Richcraft Sensplex, a modern facility with four NHL-sized ice pads, excellent amenities, and plenty of space for families and fans to enjoy the action
