EOGHA 2025 Annual General Meeting Recap
The East Ottawa Girls Hockey Association held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 14, 2025, at the Ray Friel Centre.
This year’s meeting highlighted another season of tremendous growth and success for the Association. Key agenda items included:
- An overview of the 2024/25 season, celebrating record registration numbers, strong competitive and house league participation, and the continued success of our development programs.
- A review of the financial statements, showing the Association’s sound fiscal management and commitment to supporting families and programs.
- Revisions to the bylaws, including updates to streamline board structure and enhance governance.
- Election of the 2025/26 Board of Directors, shaping the leadership team for the upcoming season.
We’re excited to announce that Lorne Wilmott has been elected as the new President of the EOGHA. Congratulations, Lorne!
A heartfelt thank you to Rick Leach for his years of service of exceptional leadership and dedication as President. Under Rick’s guidance, the Association saw remarkable growth from expanded programming and rebranding to increased financial strength and community engagement. His contributions have left a lasting impact on the EOGHA community.
